Annual Shed Cleaning

I just did my 2nd annual shed cleaning. I took everything out of the shed. Swept the floor. Put 80 % of it back. Sierra enjoyed playing with the toys that she found. That baby bed that is behind Sierra in the picture was Dave's bed when he was an infant. All of our kids slept in it and so did Sierra. So where do you store things like that?....In the shed.

Fargo Street Fair

Mom and I, Jamie and Sierra met
Anne and Reese at the Fargo Street Fair.
It was fun.

We saw jugglers........

We tried some new tastes........

We shopped........

I think Sierra and Reese were the only ones that found something to buy.

Weekend at Medora

Dave and I had a good time at Medora.
We went with Polly and Craig Roe.

We saw Wild Horses, Wild Buffalo, Prairie Dogs, Elk, Wild Deer, and Beautiful Country.

We hiked....got a little lost....and hiked some more.
(By the way, short cuts aren't always shorter.)

We camped in Roes' pop-up camper in the Medora Camp Ground.

We ran into some Kindred Friends at one of the Medora bars.

We watched the Musical which was special this year being that it was the 50th Birthday of the Amphitheater, the 100th Birthday of Medora and Theodor Roosevelt's 125th Birthday. I think we should make this a yearly event!

Plans

Good Morning. We had a fun weekend at Medora. I'll post pictures later. Yesterday we went to the Fargo Street Fair. That was fun too. Again, more pictures later.

I had to take my desktop computer in to the Geek Squad yesterday. I got it in just in time. Yesterday was the last day of the warranty. I wonder what their diagnostic tests are finding out. It feels like I have a child in the hospital. ha ha

The Geek Squad had replaced the hard drive just two weeks ago. I was almost done reinstalling everything when I decided to check out the Media Center. The TV tuner wasn't working. I hope they can fix it without reformatting. I have quite a few hours invested in installations on that computer. I don't want to do it again. I do plan on purchasing Norton Ghost. As soon as my machine is up and running I WILL do a drive image for next time. (btw, I have said that before...but this time I will do it!)

Barbie's Back

While I was growning up, Barbie Grondland lived next door. I thought that she was the greatest. She was interested in the Beatles....I became interested in the Beatles. (understatement) She told me about the birds and bees...which I doubted at first, but believed it only because Barbie Grondland had told me. I always thought that she was so cool. She was a few years older than me and she had boyfriends. Wow.

Barbie has moved back into the area. I still think she's neat. She still looks great. She looks younger than I do. She's attending her 40 yr high school reunion this weekend. She is going to shock some fellow classmates. Here's a picture of her. Does she look 59 to you? Maybe 39..........

4th of July

We had a fun at the lake on the 4th of July. Our extended family numbered 33 humans and 9 dogs. Yah, 9 dogs. That wasn't expected, ha ha.

Doctor Sierra

My four year old grandaughter, Sierra told me that she was having a good day. I took her with me when I brought my dog in to the vet.

The animal clinic amazed her. She told the veterinarian that she wants to be a animal doctor when she grows up. The veterinarian was so nice. She told Sierra that she should watch very carefully as she gives Max an examine.

When it was time to go, Sierra didn't want to leave. I told her that I would take Max (my dog) outside to go to the bathroom and we'd wait for her outside. It took a full 5 min before she came out of the building.

On the way home, Sierra pretended that she was a veterinarian. She repeated almost word for word what the doctor had said while examining Max.

When we got home, Sierra told her mom that she was going to be an animal doctor when she grows up. Her mom said that she thought that Sierra was going to be a rancher. Obviously Sierra had already thought out her plan. She answered her mom...."When I go to work everyday, I will be an animal doctor. On my days off, I'll take care of my own animals on my ranch."
